Microsoft revealed there are over 2.2 million people who have signed up for the company's Windows Insider Program to help test preview versions of Windows 10. This is a big increase compared to the 1.7 million members that Microsoft said had signed up for the program just eight days ago.
The exact number of Windows Insider Program members is 2,211,371, as revealed today on the official Windows Facebook page. In addition, Microsoft says it has received 582,306 individual pieces of feedback from those members on Windows 10.
Microsoft has already stated it plans to give Windows Insider Program members early access to Windows 10 development tools and SDKs at some point in the future, in addition to future Windows 10 preview builds.
